I was hoping to avoid this, but it looks as if I’m going to have to go on hiatus for a while. If you’ve been following my blog, you know that we’ve been trying to prepare one home (a rental) to live in while having our current residence on the market. The rental was in deplorable condition, and I have spent the last month trying to get it ready for us to move in. This means, there’s a lot happening right now with old carpet being pulled up and new carpet being laid down along with construction, yard work, and some major cleaning, which we hope will take place next week.
Along with this unexpected load, there’s been the niggling reality that I’ve needed to start on my applications for Masters programs soon. Truthfully, I should’ve started a month ago, but was unable due to the housing situation. Now, I’m in a bit of a rush to see to this important aspect of my education. I have chosen four schools, and each of them require a different essay. Each of these applications, with their individual essays, are due at slightly different times. It’s a lot to keep track of and a lot of writing. So, my energy is going to have to be focused on the house and these applications.
In the meantime, I have a plan. I will be posting one of my favorite posts from over the last 18 months that I’ve been writing here on, Waters of Peace. I’ll be doing this on a weekly basis. Most likely on Wednesdays, but I may play around with this a bit. I’m hoping this may give you the opportunity to catch up on some posts you may have missed.
I don’t know how long I’ll be gone, but I’ll keep you updated as we go. And thank you for sticking with me and for reading.
